Jelisa was raised right around the corner in Effingham county and earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Veterinary Technology at the Fort Valley State University. She has a cat named Irene that she adopted while she was enrolled in the veterinary technology program, and two dogs named Flipp and Boosie. In her free time she enjoys rugby and spending time downtown!
